An analytical review of the scientific literature devoted to the issue of developing a differentiated regulation scheme for xenobiotics in environmental objects, taking into account their real levels/concentrations, was conducted. The priority directions of further experimental sanitary-chemical and toxicological studies of pollutants as factors of low intensity have been determined. On the basis of experimental toxicological studies of chemical compounds of various nature (quaternary ammonium compounds, hypochorpic acid, hafnium and its compounds, inosine pranobex), hygienic standards have been established, taking into account the methodology of studying paradoxical effects. Proposed algorithms for pre-hospital diagnosis and prevention of diseases associated with the effects of harmful habits (tobacco smoking) and pollution of the atmosphere and hydrosphere during hostilities.
