Report on the GDR: 118 pp., 85 drawings, 12 photos, 45 sources.
The object of the study is the registration of seismic signals from the movement of heavy equipment shots of barrel artillery.
The purpose of the work - The purpose of this work is to develop the principles of building a software-hardware complex for the location and identification of heavy moving objects, barrel artillery shots and man-made events based on seismology using digital laser interferometry.
Achieving the goal involves carrying out comprehensive research on the implementation of geophysical devices developed at the Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the basis of digital laser interferometers in special studies. A key point in achieving the goal is that the developed interferometer allows measuring relative displacements, not their velocity or acceleration, which allows measurements starting from zero frequencies. With regard to seismometers, this is the possibility of expanding their dynamic and frequency range in the area of infra-low frequencies and measuring slopes at the level of thousandths of arcseconds. Thanks to the use of a semiconductor laser, this approach to achieving the goal has no analogues in the world, but requires separate research into the possibility of its use for the location and identification of heavy moving objects and man-made events.
Research method – analysis and synthesis of automatic control systems, mathematical and physical modeling, geometric and physical optics.
An analysis of seismic event location methods and their sensitivity to the accuracy of geophysical measurements was carried out.
The results of the NDR will be used in the development of principles for the construction of location systems and the identification of heavy moving objects and man-made events.
