An overview and analysis of modern technologies and equipment was carried out: for the production of torrefied biofuel; biomethane from biogas obtained from various types of biomass and biowaste by methane fermentation; combustion of solid biofuels, in particular technologies for burning pellets from the straw of cereal crops. The method of estimating the volumes of biomethane production from biogas obtained from different types of biomass has been clarified. A conceptual technological diagram of an experimental burner for low-temperature continuous burning of straw pellets has been developed.
