The purpose of the work is to systematize the terminology of beet sugar production. Work has been carried out to assess the relevance of the Ukrainian-language terminology of beet sugar production using the algorithm proposed in previous periods. New terms have been defined: “extra white sugar”, “semi-white sugar”, “sugar solution”, “invert sugar syrup”, “glucose-fructose syrup”, “dried glucose syrup”, “dextrose or dextrose monohydrate”, “dextrose or anhydride "dextrose" and "fructose", as well as the term "white sugar", with new definitions of concepts in accordance with the provisions of the Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy dated November 2, 2017 No. 592, a new section "Raw materials and semi-finished products of sugar production" has been added. A glossary of beet sugar production terminology has been developed with the aim of updating it based on the results of work performed on the topic. Proposals have been developed for the possible and appropriate use of the results of systematization of the terminology of beet sugar production to update the terminology in regulatory documents at various levels.
