Objective of the study – to develop scientific principles for improving the system of organizing children's nutrition in the New Ukrainian School. Research methods: exploratory-informational, epidemiological, analytical, computational, and statistical. Primary data were obtained through a survey method using developed questionnaires designed for school-age children, parents, or guardians, particularly those with special dietary needs. Research results revealed that the majority of middle and high school students (92.80%) do not use school nutrition, and 85.60% regularly bring food from home, often containing a high amount of sugar and carbohydrates. The existing school nutrition does not meet the needs of a significant portion of children with dietary restrictions (54.3%). Additionally, in almost all educational institutions (97.3%), there are no facilities for storing food brought from home. It was also found that some children (22.8%) experience psychological problems due to dietary restrictions and the need for separate nutrition in the educational institution. A correlation was identified between the occurrence of dietary behavior disorders due to military stress and the child's location relative to military actions. The prolonged nature of these disorders in 43.15% of children is a prognostic factor for the development of pathological conditions, including chronic non-communicable diseases. Recipe collections for school meals and technological cards for school nutrition, as well as a series of normative-methodical documents, including those of nationwide significance, have been developed.
