The influence of the natural climate zone on the hope of cows was unreliable and minimal. For the production of milk from cows of the Ukrainian Black-and-White Dairy breed, it is better to use progressive technology, and for the Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed - traditional. Cows of both breeds that produced milk under advanced technology were characterized by higher live weight at first insemination and 1–3 calvings with an unreliable advantage in age of first insemination and calving. A reliable influence of the heredity of the improving breed on the milk productivity of cows of both breeds was established, regardless of the conditions of their keeping. The influence of the line on the yield and fat content in the milk of cows of the Ukrainian Black-and-White Dairy breed was reliable and was 6.0 and 3.9% for the first lactation, 7.1 and 6.9% for the second, and 6.6 and 6.6 for the third 8.2%, and the Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed: 3.0 and 3.1%, for the second - 4.6 and 3.0% and for the third - 5.4 and 3.7%, respectively. The fertility of cows of the studied breeds within the same genotypic group differed significantly depending on the origin of the father. Recommendations have been developed regarding the effectiveness of the use of inbreeding to improve the milk productivity of Ukrainian Black- and Red-and-White Dairy breeds.
