Description

The project is aimed at the development of new Fe-based alloys for welding with powder tapes wear-resistant coatings on the surface of steel parts, power processing, grinding, earthmoving, oil and gas, coal mining equipment, as well as armor plates for personnel protection. The goal is to establish the regularities of structure formation, phase composition and properties of electric arc deposited coatings based on high-manganese steel and to develop new, scientifically based, alloying systems with refractory compounds with high microhardness to ensure high wear and impact resistance.
