Description

The object of the research is the social relations that arise, develop, and cease during the investigation of criminal offenses. The aim of the study is to, based on the achievements of legal science, analysis, and generalization of law enforcement activities by authorized bodies of Ukraine and foreign countries, reveal the theoretical and practical problems that arise during the qualification of crimes and their investigation; categories of crimes and directions for combating crime; ways to improve the current criminal and criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine in accordance with European Union standards; ways to develop relations with countries near and far abroad. The methodological basis of the research consists of a system of general scientific and special scientific methods and approaches that ensured an objective analysis of the phenomena under study, namely the dialectical method, method of historical analysis, systemic-structural, comparative-legal, formal-logical, and statistical methods.
