The impact of a set of factors characterizing patients with diseases of the biliary tract complicated by mechanical jaundice on the results of their treatment was determined. The obtained data will be used in the selection of treatment tactics and the development of preventive measures for the occurrence of systemic and local disorders in this category of patients. The obtained results of the conducted retrospective clinical and laboratory research allow us to highlight the indications for choosing the stages and volume of operative treatment at the preoperative stage.
