Description

 Factors influencing the strategic management of the production potential of machine-building enterprises, which can help increase management efficiency and improve competitiveness indicators, were studied. The value-oriented management of the enterprise is considered as the basis of the controlling management of the enterprise in the conditions of risks and uncertainty. Strategic management of the production potential enables the enterprise to minimize the negative factors influencing its functioning and will increase competitiveness. The machine-building industry is strategically important for the industry of the state. The industrial potential of the state, its competitiveness on foreign markets, the level of social development, scientific and technical progress, in particular the productivity of production personnel, reduction of material intensity, quality of the final product, conservation of energy resources depends on the development of mechanical engineering. The industry provides complex mechanization and automation of production for various branches of the national economy. In connection with the deterioration of the economic situation in Ukraine, there is a need to improve the management process on the basis of financial controlling, which will help attract additional financial resources and improve the production funds of machine-building enterprises. A distinctive feature is that the proposed management mechanisms focus specifically on heavy engineering enterprises. The practical value of the obtained results lies in recommendations for reducing negative factors affecting the production potential of machine-building enterprises, which are based on the application of cost-oriented management for making strategic management decisions on the basis of financial controlling. A set of actions has been defined that will help to increase the competitiveness of individual enterprises and the mechanical engineering industry as a whole.
