The main purpose of the planned research is to develop theoretical and methodological principles for improving the land management system of united territorial communities (OTG) and practical recommendations for implementing an optimal model of OTG organization to ensure sustainable land use, taking into account natural and economic conditions of regions.
Scientifically based proposals for the use of land management mechanism in the process of optimizing the ecological and socio-economic functions of OTG territories will contribute to the sustainable development of rural areas, efficient functioning of agricultural production, rational use and protection of land.

Land management and optimisation mechanisms for the formation of a rational organisation of the territory of the TG are proposed. In particular, through the development of land management projects and the establishment of environmental and technological restrictions on the use of agricultural land.
Attention is drawn to the need to plan the development of technical and social infrastructure provided for in urban planning and land management documentation and to reserve land plots for the implementation of planned activities.
Methodological recommendations on the use of the land management mechanism in the process of forming a rational organisation of the territory of the TG are developed.
