The paper analyzes the trends in the development of innovations in the formation of strategies for the competitiveness of economic entities. The essence of an innovation-oriented strategy is to achieve the goals of business entities through the use of advanced technologies, a new approach to traditional goods, and the development of a unique product to meet needs that may be conscious or unconscious. In the work, a model of the formation of the strategy of competitiveness of business entities was developed, which will allow to achieve an operational response, which involves the achievement of a business goal through a quick response to innovations.
