Registration Date 29-05-2024 Organization Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding popup.description2  The object of the research is the energy supply of ships and ships with a reduction in fuel consumption and thermal footprint-visibility, an increase in the power and autonomy of navigation. The aim of research is development of energy supply technologies with energy production by transformation of waste heat of SPP and cooling of cyclic air of engines and conditioning systems (life support), which provides stabilization of thermal condition of engines, reduction of thermal trace-visibility of vessels and fuel consumption, increase of power, replacement of electricity and fuel, and, as a consequence, an increase in the autonomy of navigation of naval vessels and coast guard ships. 1. The direction, hypotheses, approaches to the energy life support of ships and ships by the transformation of waste heat are substantiated, the energy and life support reserves of ships and ships, hypotheses and ways of their implementation are determined. 2. A methodology was developed for designing systems for cooling the cyclic air of engines by transforming waste heat on the base of thermo-hour potential. 3. Improved cycles of stepwise air cooling by combined heat transformation and a method of calculating their efficiency indicators have been developed. 4. A method of determining the rational parameters of combined-type thermotransformers has been developed. 5. A new concept of energy and life support for naval vessels and ships has been developed, according to which the combined production of electrical/mechanical energy, heat and cold by stepwise transformation of waste heat from engines by absorption-ejector type thermotransformers, which ensures stabilization of the thermal state of engines and reduction of the thermal footprint of ships, reduction of fuel consumption.
