The purpose and objectives of the research. The aim of the work is to increase the efficiency of loading bulk materials for the purpose by improving the design and establishing rational parameters and operating modes of the feeding device. To achieve this goal, the following research tasks are formulated: Experimental studies were carried out in laboratory and production conditions by mathematical planning of experiments. Calculations and statistical processing of experimental data were performed using a computer. The scientific novelty of the research is that: - investigated and revealed the patterns of movement of bulk material in the closed volume of the feeding device; - rational values of the design and technological parameters of the feeding device have been substantiated; they provide the required performance and accuracy of dosing of bulk materials. The practical significance of the results obtained: - an experimental sample of a gravitational feeding device has been developed and manufactured; it is a working body of the machine for loading bulk materials into valve bags.
