Development of technologies for equipping textile materials for the production of domestic samples of a modern range of personal protective equipment for military personnel
popup.description2
70 samples of dyed textile materials were produced in laboratory conditions. Testing of hygienic, operational, and mechanical characteristics of manufactured samples of textile materials was conducted. The vapor permeability indicator remained unchanged. The air permeability of textile material samples after fitting decreases due to the compaction of the surface structure of the textile material (from 91.0 dm3/m2 to 47.6 dm3/m2). The breaking load does not significantly decrease up to 10%. Indicators of color fastness to washing, the effect of sweat, dry and wet friction demonstrate high indicators that correspond to the necessary operational properties (4-5 points on the scale of gray standards).
Analysis of the color characteristics of the samples of textile materials shows that an increase in the concentration of the intensifier affects the color intensity of all samples of textile materials. For samples dyed with a dye concentration of 1% and 3% by weight of the textile material, the decrease in lightness at a concentration of the intensifier of 3 g/l in the future occurs more slowly.
Samples of furnished textile materials have confirmed high antimicrobial activity against test microorganisms Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 8739 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 9027. Resistance to Candida albicans ATCC 10231 is moderate.
The effect of surface-active substance (surfactant) on the efficiency of processing from the nanostate of dyes in the presence of an intensifier was determined. The average particle size decreases from 45.37 nm at a numerical fraction (n.d.) of 23.52% in the dye bath to 35.29 nm at a n.d. 7.3%.
