The goal of the project is the development and implementation of a geospatial system for monitoring the impact of war on the state of agricultural land in Ukraine for regular assessment of direct losses of agricultural production, forecasting the yield of major crops, substantiating state support measures for the agricultural sector and improving the effectiveness of management decisions in the agricultural sector based on geo-information technologies and earth observation data.

The report provides a description of the available data sets applicable for monitoring damaged fields on a regular basis for the territory of Ukraine, and the analysis of modern methods of monitoring damage to agricultural land. A data model for presentation on the geoportal was developed and a data set containing information (geospatial, statistical, satellite, etc.) applicable for monitoring damaged fields was developed. An analysis of existing monitoring methods was carried out and optimal approaches to detection and assessment of the extent of damage to agricultural land were determined. A cloud computing infrastructure architecture was developed to identify, present, and regularly update geospatial products for agricultural field damage monitoring.
