A number of 3,3'-DIM derivatives were synthesized. Molecular docking showed that the DIM ligand binds primarily to β-CD in its open conformation. Experimental samples of DIM complexes with α-CD and β-CD were obtained. The solubility of DIM in nine solvents, including those used in pharmacy, was determined. An experimental evaluation of the antibacterial activity of such solutions was carried out on museum cultures of microorganisms. It was established that the 0.5% solution of DIM in N-methylpyrrolidone exhibits the greatest antimicrobial activity among all the tested samples in relation to reference strains of bacteria and is characterized by a pronounced antimicrobial antifungal effect against Candida albicans, as well as the ability to diffuse into agar. The effectiveness and spectrum of its antimicrobial effect does not change during the month. The results were presented at two Ukrainian conferences with international participation.
