Project goal: based on the analysis of scientific literature and best foreign and Ukrainian inclusive practices, to theoretically substantiate, develop, and experimentally test an accessible and effective design of an inclusive educational environment in higher education institutions through the piloting of a roadmap for implementing its educational-organizational, psychological-pedagogical, and social-rehabilitation components. Research methods: subject (categorical) analysis; structural-functional analysis; content analysis; monitoring method; abstraction; hierarchy analysis method; scientific extrapolation; updated structural analysis method; SWOT analysis; empirical methods (survey); methods of mathematical statistics. Research results: 1) scientific developments and best practices in organizing and ensuring an inclusive educational environment in Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions were studied; 2) the readiness of Ukrainian higher education institutions to establish an inclusive educational environment was evaluated; 3) an accessible and effective design of an inclusive educational environment for higher education institutions was developed, and a roadmap for implementing its educational-organizational, psychological-pedagogical, and social-rehabilitation components was created and piloted; 4) recommendations for the creation and development of an accessible and effective inclusive educational environment in Ukrainian higher education institutions were formulated.
