It was proposed to solve problems by the method of integral transformations, due to which the initial problem was reduced to a vector one-dimensional boundary value problem. This problem can be solved using matrix differential calculus. The singular integral equation obtained in the process with respect to the unknown displacement or stress was solved using the method of orthogonal polynomials, resulting in an infinite system of linear algebraic equations of the first or second kind.
