Registration Date 13-12-2024 Organization Institute of Condensed Matter Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 The goal of the project is to derive the explicit expressions of thermodynamic functions for a model system of interacting particles in a wide range of temperature, pressure, and density; study the influence of its microscopic parameters on the properties of matter in different states and identify conditions for various phase transitions; establish connections between theoretical findings and experimental data for real substances by choosing specific sets of generalized cell-model parameters. popup.description2 Thermodynamic response functions — isothermal compressibility, thermal pressure coefficient, and thermal expansion coefficient — were calculated for a cell model with a modified Morse potential. An extended phase diagram of the cell model was constructed, covering the region of supercritical temperatures, high pressures, and high densities. The mathematical properties of special functions, which define the partition function of the cell model and its thermodynamic properties through the equation of state, previously unexplored in the mathematical literature, were investigated.
