The research was implemented through a complex of applied: 1. Development of creative potential and communicative competence of children of preschool and primary school age by means of innovative technologies; 2. Substantiation of technologies for training future teachers of preschool and general secondary education institutions; 3. Development of didactic tools for ensuring the continuity of preschool and primary education. In accordance with the assigned tasks: 1. The key theoretical and practical principles of the development of creative potential and communicative competence of children of preschool and primary school age by means of innovative technologies have been defined and substantiated; developed recommendation materials aimed at developing the creative potential and communicative competence of preschool and primary school children using innovative technologies; 2. The content and technological support for the professional training of future teachers of preschool and primary school has been substantiated. A collective monograph on the problem of training primary school teachers to implement the ideas of the New Ukrainian School has been published; 3. Didactic approaches to the formation of basic competencies of preschoolers and key competencies of younger schoolchildren in the conditions of continuity of preschool and primary education have been updated; recommendation materials have been prepared aimed at ensuring the continuity of preschool and primary education.
