The archival collection of Center involves correspondence and documents of Isaak Kipnis (1896–1974), Matviy Talalayevsky (1908–1978), Boris Khandros (1923–2006), Mykhailo Pinchevsky (1894–1955), Dora Haikina (1913–2006), Ikhil Falikman (1911–1977), Nathan Zabari (1908–1975), Riva Balyasna (1910–1980), Oleksandr Lizen (1911–2000), and Yosyp Bukhbinder (1908–1993). These letters are valuable sources for reconstructing the creative life and everyday experiences of each of the authors, as well as for helping to create a complete picture of the literary process and cultural life of the Jewish creative intellectuals in the USSR in the second half of the 20th century. popup.description2  The object of the study is the archival heritage of Jewish writers of Ukraine from the collections of the Center for the Study of History and Culture of East European Jewry at NaUKMA.
