Research methods: clinical, instrumental, immunological, immunoenzymatic, microbiological, statistical. The features of the course of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in patients with an immune response to SARS-CoV2 were determined, which were manifested by the presence of cholestasis and cytolysis syndromes, an increase in the level of coagulation factor II (prothrombin), a significant decrease in T-lymphocytes, an increase in the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6 and TNF-α), which contributed to an increase in the stiffness of the liver parenchyma. It was shown that bacterial overgrowth syndrome was observed in 43.5% of patients, the presence of profound changes in the colonic microflora was observed in 89.5% of patients, a decrease in the concentration of butyric acid, an increase in acetic and propionic acids in feces. It was found that SARS-CoV-2 changes the metabolism of free fatty acids in blood serum, which leads to an increase in the atherogenic coefficient.
