The purpose of the study is to theoretically and methodologically substantiate the essential content of reputation management of a tourist destination, develop practical recommendations for the formation of the concept of reputation management of a national tourist destination, improve the strategy, tactics and mechanisms (tools) for managing the reputation of tourist destinations in the context of total digitalization of the tourism industry. Research methods - systematization - to identify scientific works on the definition of “reputation”, “reputation management”, “digitalization of the tourism industry”; monitoring - used to study ratings as factors in assessing reputation; analysis - used to analyze the factors of reputation assessment; modeling - used to build the concept of reputation management of a tourist national destination; analogy - to compare the national tourist destination with world tourist destinations; comparison of digital reputation management. The scientific and methodological bases for determining the target functions of reputation management of a tourist destination are developed, which, unlike the existing ones, provide for the classification of types of reputation of a tourist destination by various characteristics, description of reputational characteristics of a tourist destination by a set of qualitative and quantitative parameters, specification /selection / determinants in the architectonics of the reputation of a tourist destination, structuring of the object-subject business environment of reputation management, which in general will allow providing a concise and comprehensive service.
