The aim of the work was to determine the optimal cryopreservation conditions by vitrification of spermatogonial stem and accessory regulatory cells of the testes (SS and ARCs) using biopolymer gels. It was established that the optimal cryopreservation conditions by vitrification of SSTARC are the use of fibrin gel with the addition of 15% DMSO, 18% glycerol and 0.5M sucrose as a cryoprotective medium. These conditions ensure the preservation of membrane integrity, phenotype, metabolic activity, antioxidant system, proliferative activity and do not lead to the activation of apoptosis processes in SS and ARCs of rat testes. The results obtained can be used to develop effective cryopreservation protocols by vitrification of SSTARC and the creation of spermatogonial stem cells cryobanks in order to restore fertility in men.
