The subject of the study is the development of life competence of an individual in the conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Purpose of the study: To determine the psychological regularities and mechanisms of development of life competence of an individual in the discursive space as one of the prerequisites for the productivity of his/her life in the changing present. Research methods: theoretical analysis of the problem, methods of narrative psychology, questionnaires, interviews, psychosemantic methods, structural and semantic analysis of the text, psychological training, methods of psychological correction. Within the framework of the revised research concept, the features of the manifestation of life competence in the conditions of a full-scale war are characterised; a narrative model of the development of life competence of an individual is built, on the basis of which a technology for constructing personal experience is developed; life tasks arising in difficult situations related to a full-scale war are characterised and the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to support information and psychological support for adults are identified. The general characteristics of the influence of personal competences of young people on the setting and solving of life tasks are clarified; the main trends in the influence of socio-cultural discourses on the development of life competence of Ukrainian youth in the conditions of war are identified; the dynamics of the reflection of the crisis situation in the discursive space of adults and the elderly are traced; the main components of the life competence of volunteers and teachers are determined.
