A method for optimizing methods and means of compensating for the instability of FES generation in LES has been developed, where the optimality criterion is the minimum cost of project implementation. To substantiate the methods and means of reserving the instability of PV generation, the criterion method of similarity theory has been used. It is shown that the analysis of the proportionality and sensitivity of relative costs to the power of PV reserve means establishes their feasibility and priority for implementation.
