Study of cumulative neurotoxic effects from multicomponent PM pollution and neuroactive pharmaceutical pollutants, biomaterials, toxic metals using a proprietary approach to neurotoxicity assessment using brain nerve terminals, in vitro and in vivo animal models; determination of PM types that can be carriers of pollutants; molecular mechanisms of neurotoxicity; the relationship between PM and susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2; countermeasures.
popup.description2
The object of the research is ACE 2 receptors, monitoring data on the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection and air pollution in the Republic of Moldova.
The purpose of the work is to study the cumulative neurotoxic effects of multicomponent PM pollution and neuroactive pharmaceutical pollutants, biomaterials, toxic metals using our own approach to neurotoxicity assessment using brain nerve terminals, in vitro and in vivo animal models; determination of PM types that can be carriers of pollutants; molecular mechanisms of neurotoxicity; the relationship between PM and susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2; countermeasures.
Research methods – mathematical modeling, cell cultivation and methods of statistical analysis.
Ceftriaxone (500 mg/ml, 1000 mg/ml), gideazepam (0.02 g/ml, 0.04 g/ml, 0.08 g/ml) and ticagrelor (1 µM, 2 µM, 4 µM). Administration of lead acetate (10 μM, 20 μM, 40 μM), mask smoke nanoparticles (20 μg/ml, 40 μg/ml, 80 μg/ml) resulted in 100% cell death. Poplar smoke nanoparticles (20 μg/ml, 40 μg/ml, 80 μg/ml) increased cell death by 20% and 60% after 24 and 72 hours of cultivation, respectively. In the structure of the incidence of SARS-CoV-2 in both highly polluted and lightly polluted regions, the lowest number of cases was observed in the "younger" age groups (0-9 and 10-19 years). In age groups 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, the share of confirmed cases ranged from 14% to 24%. Mortality per 100,000 population from SARS-CoV-2 in highly polluted regions was higher during 2020-2021 both among
the male and female population.
