popup.description2
Object of Study: Positive mental health of an individual as a psychological phenomenon.
Purpose of Scientific Research: To identify the systemic determinants of an individual’s positive mental health and to develop effective technologies to promote its achievement.
Research Methods: Theoretical methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, classification, comparison, and modeling. Empirical methods: testing, surveys, interviews, expert evaluations, narrative methods, and analysis of activity products. Statistical methods: quantitative and qualitative analysis (descriptive statistics, comparison of sample means using Student’s t-test, correlation, factor, and regression analysis, among others).
Theoretical analysis and empirical findings have enabled the identification of primary models of positive mental health in individuals: Mental health as a measure of personal maturity; Mental health as a subjective sense of well-being; Mental health as psychological resilience; Mental health as socio-emotional intelligence.
The synthesis of theoretical and empirical materials from the study facilitated the development of a technological model of an individual’s positive mental health and technologies to promote it and improve quality of life.
Key directions for psychotherapeutic support for Ukrainian citizens were identified, focusing on activating and developing personal resources for mental health. These include positive psychotherapy, gestalt therapy, mindfulness therapy, art therapy techniques, and self-regulation techniques, which are widely used in global clinical practice for managing crises and offer broader perspectives, transforming crises into opportunities for post-traumatic growth.
The results obtained are exceptionally novel, scientifically valuable, and relevant, significantly surpassing leading domestic and international counterparts in key quantitative and qualitative indicators.
