It has been shown that individual and combined bacterial substrates can be used as growth factors for cultivating demanding microorganisms, replacing animal-derived products, in particular, serum from cattle blood. It has also been established that substrates with higher concentrations of combined biologically active substances have higher nutritional value. The effectiveness of adding bacterial disintegrates, both individually and in combinations, to nutrient agar has been demonstrated to enrich the latter with growth factors to support the growth of various species of highly demanding microorganisms, instead of blood, specifically: blood agar and yeast agar. Individual disintegrates were comparable to commercial yeast agar, while combinations of disintegrates outperformed yeast agar regarding microbial cell growth. There was likely a greater increase in the bacterial mass of microorganisms when disintegrates were applied in combination than when used separately. Additionally, the statistical nutritional value was higher for the combination of ultrasonic disintegrates compared to individual disintegrates. Individual disintegrates and combinations of disintegrates influence the biochemical parameters and pathogenicity factors of bacterial infection Product Description popup.authors Isaienko Olena Yu.
