The first trend is the substantiation and real establishment of a new paradigm of child- and person-centered education in sovereign Ukraine (V. Kremen, I. Bekh, G. Ball, M. Borishevsky, I. Zyazyun, A. Kirychuk). The second trend is the gradual awareness by representatives of Ukrainian humanities of the need to develop philosophical foundations for the development of education and pedagogy, which led to the institutionalization of the philosophy of education as a new research direction for Ukrainian humanities in the early 2000th (V. Andrushchenko, L. Gorbunova, Kultaeva, V. Lutai, V. Ognevyuk, P. Saukh). The third trend is a gradual strengthening of Ukrainization in the educational and cultural space of Ukraine (starting from the late 1980s), which from separate initiatives has turned into an integral factor in the creation of the state, the formation of generations of nationally oriented citizens-statists. The fourth trend is the intensification of the appeal to national roots and creativity of Ukrainians from the diaspora (G. Vashchenko, E. Zharsky, I. Ohienko, D. Chizhevsky, M. Shlymkevich). The fifth trend, associated with the objective process of globalization, is the dominance of the post-non-classical concept of "education as capital" over the concept of "education as culture", which negatively affects the development of civil society, reduces the level and assessment of the spiritual existence of a person in favour of acquiring life and professional competencies. And the Ukrainian mentality is characterized by deepening into the inner world of a person, the dominance of moral values of Christian culture. Product Description popup.authors Dichek Nataliia P.
