The goal of the work is to create a new system for improving the effectiveness of the prevention and treatment of hormonal and metabolic disorders, of endocrine-related infertility in the population of Ukraine in the conditions of martial law and in the post-war period by creating pathogenetically determined approaches to taking into account genetic and demographic processes in the population. Against the background of the use of Omakor in the group of patients who took Metformin as the main hypoglycemic drug, an improvement in glycemic control indicators was found, decrease in the manifestations of insulin resistance, decrease in the level of free fatty acids, positive changes in the level of adipokine in the examined patients, which indicates the improvement of metabolic parameters in the body, decrease in local inflammation in adipose tissue. A comparative analysis of a number of biochemical indicators was carried out in groups that did or did not take Metformin as the main hypoglycemic drug. The study found that carriers of the AG genotype based on the Met408Val polymorphism of the SLC22A1 gene, who took metformin, had significantly lower levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, omentin, osteoprotegerin, ALT and AST.
