The object of the research is the professional development of teaching staff of vocational colleges in the conditions of the pandemic, wartime and postwar times. Research methods: theoretical (analysis, synthesis, modeling, comparison, systematization, generalization of scientific theoretical and research data); empirical (questionnaires, interviews, control testing, observations, discussions, expert evaluations, pedagogical experiments, methods of statistical processing of research results, etc.). According to the results of the ascertaining stage of the scientific research: the concept of the development of professional competence of pedagogical workers of vocational colleges in the conditions of the pandemic, war and post-war times was substantiated and developed; a methodological system was theoretically substantiated and developed, and a structural and content model of the development of professional competence of teaching staff of vocational colleges was designed; experimentally determined and theoretically substantiated pedagogical conditions for the purposeful development of professional competence of pedagogical workers of institutions of vocational pre-higher education.
