Taking into account the features of Ukrainian coal, effective directions of preliminary activation of carbon-containing materials have been selected, namely, microwave, electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical. It was established that during microwave activation of coal raw materials, an effect is observed on its petrographic characteristics, which indicates the possibility of changing the stage of metamorphism of coal matter. The features of the combined electromagnetic and thermal activation of carbonaceous raw materials were determined and the effective parameters of this activation were established. To assess the impact of mechanical activation, experimental studies of the impact of coal particle size on the heat of combustion were carried out, the results of which indicate the activation of energy accumulated in coal matter during its mechanical modification by breaking chemical bonds. A preliminary qualitative and quantitative assessment of the processes occurring during thermal activation of coal at temperatures of 150 and 200 °C was performed, and the dynamics of gas formation depending on the coal grade and exposure time were experimentally determined. Activation of coal raw materials has a positive effect on reducing the burden on the environment. The work of bag fabric filters for cleaning from solid particles on the formation of cumulative CO2 emissions from industrial bag dust collectors was evaluated. The exergy perfection of coal processing processes was assessed, namely gasification with air and oxygen blasting and the combustion process with various parameters.   Product Description popup.authors Koshelenko Yevhenii V.
