Explanatory models have been developed for various aspects of the study of socio-psychological conditions for enhancing the role of the family as a carrier of public opinion on education reform: a conceptual model of public opinion on education; a comprehensive model of parental participation in the child's educational process; a model of the development of public opinion in the family-school system; a structural model of intersubjective interaction of participants in the educational process; a model of student well-being in the educational environment; a strategic model of the sustainable development of a graduate of the New Ukrainian School; a model of mutual understanding between parents and children; a model for regulating communication between the family and the school. These features are manifested in the growing level of subjectivity of the “family” in the process of intersubjective interaction regarding; adults' revision of attitudes regarding the value of education in the child's life; social and psychological support for students’ well-being; the coordination of issues of mutual understanding in parent-child relations; and the establishment of a regulatory system of communication between the family and the school. These features play a significant role in enhancing the role of the family as a carrier of public opinion on education reform, and their indicators serve as an assessment of the desired changes. It has been established that the types of family-school interaction, as well as parents' attitudes and perceptions regarding education reform, are derived from three parameters, namely: the role of education in human success, the specifics of educational activities, and the social integration of the community.
