TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THE QUALITY OF STRATEGIC AND LONG-TERM OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT PARTS STRENGTHENED WITH WEAR-RESISTANT WOLFRAM-FREE COATINGS DEPOSITED BY MELTING
The object of research: The technological process of surfacing wear-resistant coatings using powder electrodes based on the Fe-Mo-Ti-B-C alloy system, applied to working surfaces during the manufacturing and restoration of worn steel parts, including those saturated with hydrogen, for geological equipment and critical infrastructure equipment.
Subject of research: The regularities of forming wear-resistant coatings based on the Fe-Mo-Ti-B-C alloy system during arc surfacing with powder electrodes on steel, and the regimes of mechanical cutting and abrasive treatment of wolfram-free coatings, and their impact on wear resistance.
The objective of the work: To develop a new environmentally friendly technology for forming arc coatings from powder wires of the Fe-Mo-Ti-B-C system on steel parts' surfaces designed to operate in conditions of intense abrasive wear in aggressive environments.
Research methods: A systematic approach that integrates the latest information technologies, classical mechanical-mathematical and computer modeling, machine-building technology theory, analytical and numerical methods, as well as laboratory and industrial experimental verification of the obtained results.
During the reporting stage, a justification was made for the selection of parts to be reinforced with wear-resistant wolfram-free coatings for long-term operational equipment, whose metal undergoes hydrogen saturation during prolonged operation. Additionally, the alloy composition based on the Fe-Mo-Ti-B-C system, technological regimes, and equipment for applying wear-resistant arc coatings with powder electrodes were developed. Research was conducted on the impact of various arc surfacing parameters on the physical and mechanical properties of the coatings, including hardness, adhesion, wear resistance, and resistan
