In the course of work, the pathogenetic mechanisms of the development and progression of dental diseases combined with somatic pathology (gout, iron deficiency anemia, chronic rheumatic heart disease, etc.) were studied. Also, the impact of metabolic disorders on the development of combined dental and somatic pathology was analyzed (cytokine content of C-reactive protein and biochemical indicators of connective tissue metabolism in blood serum, course of diabetes, etc.). Alternative schemes for the treatment of dental diseases, methods of optimizing local therapy with the use of modern pharmacological agents have been developed. The strategic sequence of diagnosis of patients with temporomandibular disorders and occlusal interferences was elaborated
