The subject is theoretical and methodological principles of forming professional competence in future teachers in the conditions of European integration. The purpose: theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the conceptual model of training competent future teachers in the conditions of European integration. Research methods: theoretical, empirical, statistical Results and their novelty: concept, theoretical model of forming professional competence of future teachers is grounded; developed and tested; the content of basic concepts has been clarified; the technology of training competent teachers has been identified and grounded; the structure, criteria, indicators, and levels of professional competence of future teachers have been improved; the provisions on scientific and methodological support for the training of future competent teachers in the process of studying pedagogical disciplines and undergoing practice have been further developed. The results have been covered in 48 publications: 3 collective monographs, 2 teaching aids, 11 in scientific and metric databases, 16 in professional publications. The significance and practical application of the research is connected with developing teaching and methodological support, managing practice, and conducting advanced training courses. Scope of application: social, educational sciences. Conclusions, proposals for the development of the object of research and the feasibility of continuing research. The results of the research indicate the effectiveness of the developed conceptual model.
