popup.description1
The goal of the scientific work is to develop and optimize the morphology of SERS substrates based on nanostructures with 0D, 1D, 2D dimensions to improve selectivity and sensitivity in the detection of trotyl and other hazardous substances.
popup.description2
A mathematical model (algorithm) was developed for analyzing plasmonic absorption in spherical nanoparticles. It was established that silver nanoparticles with an ellipsoidal shape can be used for fabricating substrates for Raman scattering at operating wavelengths of 532 and 785 nm. The electric field distribution and optical characteristics of a gold nanoparticle array were studied. The extinction cross-section spectra of silver nanoparticles under surface plasmon resonance conditions were calculated, taking into account the effect of the substrate using a quasi-dipole approximation, depending on the nanoparticle size and their distance from the substrate surface. The spectral characteristics and electromagnetic field distribution along the grating period for various periodic structures were computed. Methods for fabricating plasmonic nanostructures and nanostructured interfaces were improved, along with techniques for analyzing their properties.
