popup.description1
Creation of the fundamentally new structure and foundations for the functioning of the super-large electrothermal system that combines the unified energy system and district heating systems (megasystem) by electrifying heat supply through the use of energy from autonomous renewable energy sources and nuclear power plants
popup.description2
For the first time, directions for increasing the efficiency of the functioning of the unified power system based on the new structure of a super-large electrothermal system by electrifying heat supply using energy from autonomous renewable sources have been proposed, which makes it possible to solve the problem of frequency stabilization in the unified power system and guarantee the financial stability of the functioning of the energy market of Ukraine. A mathematical model of frequency and power stabilization in transient processes of the OSE in the presence of solar power plants and wind power plants has been developed. A model of changes in the country's energy balance under the condition of electrification of heat supply has been proposed. Trends in industrial production volumes, natural gas consumption and the dynamics of population changes in 2022-2023 have been analyzed. Using the developed methods, a forecast of demand for heat energy and natural gas until 2030 has been proposed for a scenario of slow growth in industrial production volumes and non-recovery of destroyed large industrial enterprises. A systematic analysis of the efficiency of the functioning of solar and wind power plants within the Unified Energy System of Ukraine was conducted, on the basis of which it was established that there are three main factors that cause the hypertrophied unprofitability of the Ukrainian energy market: 1) purchase of electricity for frequency stabilization ($ 6.51 billion); 2) purchase of electricity for backup of solar power plants and wind power plants ($ 2.14 billion); 3) system losses of the energy market ($ 2.23 billion). A pilot project for the reconstruction of the heating system of the city of Lubny based on electric boilers was proposed. The feasibility indicators of the implementation of Power-to-heat technologies in the range (10-30) Є/MWh were calculated.
