It was established that the characteristics of impact toughness, short-term and creep strength, as well as the characteristics of cyclic durability, of the metal of the disk mostly meets the strength requirements regulated in the Technical Conditions and Certificate for the EP 742-ID alloy. The effectiveness of the application of its restoration vacuum heat treatment according to the current technology of their recovery was checked. The obtained results will contribute to the determination of the possibility and conditions of increasing the installed resource by more than 15% of the high-pressure turbine disks of the AL-31F engines. The principle technology of butt argon arc welding of a bimetallic turbine wheel "disc (Inconel 718, EI 698) + cast blade (type ZhS6 and type ZhS32) high temperature strength alloys" with a weld made of Inconel 718 alloy 5 and 10,5 mm thick was developed and tested. That principle technology is based on preliminary facing of the butt weld joint edge from the side of the cast high temperature strength blades alloy by the method of microplasma powder surfacing with a plastic deposited material. The modes of heat treatment of such a welded joint are selected. Evaluation of short-term (20°С, 550°С) and creep (550°С) strength indicators on samples cut from butt-welded joints with a thickness of 5 and 10.5 mm proved that they meet the requirements of the Technical Task of SE "ZMKB "Progress" named Academician O.G.
