An urgent task for the design and creation of promising semiconductor micro- and nanodevices is to increase the frequency parameters and speed. The achievement of microelectronics technologies and the use of new semiconductor materials contribute to the solution of this problem. New opportunities are opened up by the technology of growing multicomponent semiconductor materials. Multicomponent semiconductors attract device developers by the ability to change the properties of the material determined by the molar composition; the share of the contribution of its components. A high level of knowledge of the properties of semiconductor materials will allow us to predict the potential possibilities of their application, as well as multicomponent semiconductors based on them (GaInAs, AlInAs, InNAs, InPAs ...). Research of promising semiconductor compounds is necessary for the further development of technologies for creating electronic components and ultra-high-speed electronic devices. Purpose of the work: creation of a theoretical basis (from the properties of new materials to basic nanostructures and nanocomponents) for the development of promising semiconductor devices for micro- and nanoelectronics. Expected results: obtaining new scientific knowledge, which may result in new theories, methods and mathematical models implemented in the corresponding software products for information support of the process of designing micro- and nanoelectronics components.
