popup.description2
The final stage of the fundamental research "Biocenotic monitoring of the natural ecosystems of the Roztochya reserve and the development of adaptation measures in relation to climate change" is the "Chronicle of Nature" for 2024, vol. 38. The purpose of the work is to keep a chronicle of the nature of the protected ecosystems of Roztochya and ensure their protection, develop measures for the preservation of rare species and their habitats using the example of the Roztochcha Nature Reserve, and strategies for adapting to climate change based on ecosystems. The annals of nature contain the results of biocenotic monitoring of the natural ecosystems of the "Rostochya" reserve for 2024, the core of which is the nature reserve in 38 t. Special attention is paid to the study of rare and background species of vertebrate species of animals, higher plants, and their populations in the nature reserve "Roztochya". Special attention is paid to the study of rare and background species of vertebrate species of animals, higher plants, and their populations in the nature reserve "Roztochya". Meteorological studies established that the natural year 2024 began on November 22, 2023 and ended on December 10, 2024. The duration of the seasons was as follows: winter lasted 93 days, which was 24%; spring lasted 92 days (24%), summer lasted 123 days (32%) - the longest period of the natural year, autumn lasted 77 days - the shortest period of the natural year (20%). In total, the natural year lasted 385 days, the growing season -257 days. 31 new localities of 12 species of rare species of higher vascular plants and two new species of flora: Circaea alpina L. and Circaea intermedia Ehrh. were discovered. A study of the age, sex, and spatial structure of populations of rare species of vascular plants was conducted. With the help of 20 camera traps, 425 observations of 10 species of mammals were made, with the help of sound receivers, more than 133,000 observations of birds.
