It has been established that certain medicinal plants, added to an unbalanced diet, are capable of slowing down the rate of body weight gain, influencing metabolic processes (improving lipid metabolism), and changing the qualitative and quantitative composition of the intestinal microbiota. Medicinal plants are proposed, which are promising for use in the correction of metabolic processes and the composition of intestinal microbiota with an excessive fat diet.
