Road and transport geo-information system of the city of Chernihiv RoTra_GIS is a system of software and hardware tools and algorithmic procedures, which is intended for engineering, technical, management and scientific support of the development of the road and transport system of the city of Chernihiv, which contains a single scheme of traffic organization, information on the construction of road infrastructure objects, a logical network of automobile, pedestrian and bicycle traffic suitable for solving logistical problems, functional modules of spatial analysis and management decision-making support, in particular, calculations of electricity consumption for the street lighting network, as well as solving other applied problems.
It is assumed that the road and transport geo-information system of the city of Chernihiv will be used for street certification, accounting of road and transport infrastructure objects, information support for management decisions regarding the development and optimization of the road and transport network of the city of Chernihiv.
