The subject of the study is the social and cultural aspects of language development and functioning. The purpose of the study is to investigate the sociolinguistic and linguocultural features of the German language and literature. Research methods include: analysis of scientific linguistic literature on the research problem, theoretical modeling, methods of linguistic observation of linguistic facts and generalization of linguistic phenomena of a particular research area, statistical methods, comparative analysis, survey methods, questionnaires, and interviews (if necessary). The scientific value of the research results, for both global and national science, lies in the fact that the verbs of visual perception have been studied in detail for the first time from the prospective of their structural and semantic typology.
