The significance of CXCR4 and CXCL12 expression in tumor cells and the content of CXCL12+-fibroblasts in the stromal microenvironment as key factors involved in the formation of the invasive-metastatic phenotype of endometrial and breast cancer of the luminal A subtype is shown. It has been established that high expression of the chemokine receptor CXCR4, low expression of its ligand CXCL12 in tumor cells, and increased content of CXCL12+-fibroblasts in the stromal component of tumors correlate with vascular invasion of endometrial carcinomas and the presence of metastases in regional lymph nodes in patients with the Luminal A subtype of breast cancer. Cell lines of different degrees of malignancy were characterized: basal (MDA-MB-231) and luminal (MCF-7) subtypes of breast cancer by CXCR4 expression. It was established that CXCR4 expression is reduced in MDA-MB-231 cells compared to MCF-7. The obtained data reflect the aggressiveness of the tumor process, which necessitates the search for individualized approaches to the treatment of such patients.
