The results of the risk analysis of dose dependence of mortality in the CEW cohort showed a higher sensitivity to ionizing radiation of the younger age group (18-39 years old at the date of the accident). The most dangerous period of the relative dose-dependent risk of death of CEW from non-cancerous diseases was established: 6-10 years after radiation exposure for all dose subgroups (from 0.05 Gy to 0.7 Gy) relative to the subgroup with an exposure dose of ˂ 0.05 Gy. Mathematical models were obtained that demonstrate the dynamics of the risk of mortality of CEW at the Chornobyl NPP from diseases of the circulatory system, digestive and respiratory organs. Significantly higher relative risks of mortality from certain diseases of the residents of the RCA with accumulated effective internal and external doses of more than 13 mSv were established compared to mortality rates in the subgroup with a dose of < 13 mSv. The most frequent causes of death were diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, certain diseases of the circulatory system (pulmonary heart and pulmonary circulatory disorders, cardiomyopathy), and consequences of cerebrovascular diseases. The relative risks of mortality were significantly higher in the subgroup with a dose of 13-< 26 mSv in the period 21-30 years after the accident; in the subgroup with a dose of 26-< 50 mSv in the periods 6-15 years and 21-30 years after the accident; in the subgroup with a dose of ≥ 50 mSv in the periods 16-20 and 26-30 years after the accident compared to the mortality rates in the comparison subgroup.
