The method of catalyst synthesis was developed. The method of activation of catalysts and the formation of a hierarchical porous structure under the influence of mechanochemical, sonochemical, hydrothermal and microwave treatment was developed. Recommendations for the optimal parameters of the crystal, electronic and porous structure of the developed catalysts were developed and their influence on the hydrogen production performance was determined.
