The work investigates the processes of obtaining sintered magnets based on Alnico alloy with inclusions of Fe-Nd-Co, Sm-Co-Fe, Sr-Fe-Ba cast magnet waste.
It is shown that cast magnet waste as a filler of the charge is alloying elements. At all stages of the technological process of obtaining sintered magnets by powder metallurgy, the most important role is played by the protection of the powder and the resulting workpieces from interaction with oxygen. The formation of a high-coercive state in the studied alloys is realized at the stages of sintering and heat treatment. In all cases, the increase in the coercive force is associated with certain phase-structural transformations that lead to an improvement in the surface state of particles (grains) of the hard magnetic phase, and/or to an improvement in their magnetic isolation.
Recommendations are developed regarding the sintering regimes and subsequent pressure treatment of the resulting workpieces.
